Belize couldn't send swimmers even if they wanted to, they didn't participate at the world aquatics championship.

Every country with a qualified swimmer gets a wildcard

Going by the rule of getting a tripartite spot where a NOC must average 6 or less athletes from the previous 2 games the following NOCs would be eligible for tripartite invitations.

Afghanistan
American Samoa
Aruba
Bangladesh
Belize
Benin
Bhutan
British Virgin Islands
Brunei
Burkina Faso
Burundi
Cambodia
Cape Verde
Cayman Islands
Central African Republic
Chad
Comoros
Congo
Congo DR
Cook Islands
Djibouti
Dominica
Equatorial Guinea
FS Micronesia
Gabon
Gambia
Guam
Guinea
Guinea-Bissau
Guyana
Kiribati
Laos
Lesotho
Liberia
Liechtenstein
Madagascar
Malawi
Maldives
Marshall Islands
Mauritania
Monaco
Mozambique
Myanmar

Nauru
Netherlands Antilles
Nicaragua
Niger
Oman
Palau
Palestine
Panama
Papau New Guinea
Rwanda
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Samoa
San Marino
Sao Tome and Principe
Sierra Leone
Solomon Islands
Somalia
Sudan
Suriname
Swaziland
Timor Leste
Togo
Tonga
Tuvalu
United Arab Emirates
Vanuatu
Virgin Islands
Yemen

I included Netherlands Antilles, but I'm not sure if they can be given tripartite invitations since they are competing as individual athletes.  I'm not sure how strict the rule will be enforced (last Olympics they gave spots to countries that had a higher than 6 average), but I would consider these countries to have more priority over other smaller countries.  Also given that both Iraq and Paraguay have been given tripartite invitations and not just wild card spots I feel that they make an exception to countries who qualified teams over the past 2 Olympics due to team spots inflating the number of athletes they bring.  Taking that into account you can add the following countries to the list.

Angola
Cote d'Ivoire
Honduras
Iraq
Mali
Montenegro
Paraguay

But did you take into account that some countries have had more then 6 athletes, but majority of those spots came from tripartie invitations. They would be also included on the list.

but Cayman Islands don't need a wild-card and / or a tripartite spot in Swimming...they have the Fraser brothers (Brett and Shaune), who are qualified "on the field" because of their performance from last year's World Champs and Pan-Am Games......and actually, Brett has a shot at making the 200m Free final, if he improves just a bit this year...

P.S. and also Papua New Guinea should be qualified directly "in the pool" (the veteran Ryan Pini has swum the OST in the 100m Fly at this year's Victorian Championships)...

Still Thinkin' About It...

Is it like that?  I thought it was 6 no matter how they got it.

Added Maldives and Suriname in Badminton, not too surprised however, I thought Suriname would be given a doubles spot rather than single, but the number of doubles players is really limiting.

Yea I think it is, because it depends on athletes qualified not athletes qualified + wildcards.

Does badminton have anymore wildcards?
